When I clicked "Insert Address" button in Word97, I see the Select Name
dialog box. When clicked the down arrow next to Show Names, I don't see
Contacts but Personal Address Book which is empty. How can I bring out
Contact (of Outlook 98). Satoshi

Set Outlook as the default e-mail application and make sure the contacts
list properties is checked as an Outlook Address Book.

Thanks Graham,
Your advise worked.
I tried to type addresses on envelopes.
But a line of "United States of America" always appears at the end of
delivery address.
How can I suppress the appearance of this line?

Thanks Suzanne,

I have another question on layout. I share the same pst between my home
(Dell) and office computers with the almost identical setup and software.
The difference is that Sony LCD monitor is used for my home computer.

When I print addresses on envelopes (on my Dell home computer) by clicking
Insert Address" button, an additional empty line is inserted between the
name of street and city/state/zip code lines on delivery address. All of
the addresses showed an additional empty line. (On the other hand, with my
office computer, everything looks normal.) . I wonder how I can fix the
additional line. Is there easy way to delete the line without relying on
Layout of an Address Book Entry. Satoshi

Unless you're introducing extra paragraph/line breaks or have Space
Before/After in the style, I don't know what would cause this. But I'm
clueless about Outlook because I don't use it. If you don't get a sensible
answer here (from Graham or one of the others), try an Outlook NG.

The curly brackets shown in my original reply control where the lines break.
Without them you will get spaces where there is missing data. You can
control exactly what is displayed with reference to the field names in the
link Suzanne posted, or from my own article on the topic at
