how can I see all the types of contacts when I send e-mail?

I recently imported my info from my old computer (Win XP) as a .pst file to
my new computer (Win XP SP2). In the pane on the left hand side under
contacts I can see the different catagories for my contact listings eg.
contacts....friends.....etc.
When I try to send a e-mail and click on the "to" button it only brings up
the one contact listing not the others. How can I correct this?

By "categories," do you actually mean that you see separate Contacts
Folders?
If so, just enable each folder as an email address book in its properties.
