How can i secure my desktop.

Hi there,
I m using terminal server and clients logon to terminal
server. I want them to see the Icon they needed not every
thing on desktop like my computer, network neiborhood and
nothing in start menu except the programs they used.
Any help willbe greatly apriciated.

Set the users up in a group on the Terminal Server and set a Group Policy on
that user group to remove the things you don't want them to have access to.
I have users set up so that all they get is 'My Computer' and 'Recycle Bin'.
And 'My Computer' has no drives listed in it.

locking down the desktop with GPOs is the cheapest way but it will take time
and more overhead than 3rd party s/w that's out there.
