After the first 10, yProxy won't save news servers. How do I delete
old one so I can save new ones?

Good question. Better ask at www.brawnylads.com because I can't see
any way to do it from within the program. Very strange approach they
have there. You can call up a server, delete it from the box, but it
stays in the dropdown box. Very strange,

The easy way is to upgrade to yProxy 1.3. That's a bug in previous
versions.

You can also edit the list of servers if you know your way around the
registry.

HKCU\Software\Brawny Lads\yProxy

-------------

Version 1.3 - 11/14/2002

**Fixed a bug where yProxy wasn't saving your server address in the
most recently used list after you reached the maximum because it
wasn't deleting the oldest one.

Added options to turn off indicators for improved performance.
Added command-line parameters.
Added Message of the Day (MOTD) feature so the Brawny Lads can notify
you when new movies and new versions of software are released.
Filename indicator shows total parts for multi-part yEnc posts, when
available.
Added help for Forte Free Agent and Netscape Messenger 4.7x.
"Run Locally Only" option is now greyed when yProxy is running (This
is to reflect the fact that you must set this option before you press
Start).
Renamed "Start Minimized" option to "Auto Minimize".
Non-thread-safe code fixed in parsing of yProxy headers.
Increased thread isolation to reduce slowdowns and improve
performance.
Slightly improved handling of through-traffic should slightly improve
performance, and more importantly, make it easier to add CRC32.

I'm running 1.3, build 0.15.

Okay, I went and downloaded the current version from the site. It is
exactly the one I am using - V1.3.0.15. I uninstalled my version,
installed the new one, and tested by putting two news server addresses
in. The same situation occurs - you cannot delete the old one. If
you call it up, and press the Delete key, it is removed from the box ,
but it still appears in the dropdown menu.

Yes, that would be a good workaround.

I don't have this particular situation since I don't have ten servers
but the OP did. I merely note that it is not possible to delete a
server manually. Hold on, I'll put in eleven servers in my new
install and see what it does.

Yes, they did fix that. It does remove the first server when you put
in the eleventh. But you still can't delete a server manually.

So the OP needs to be running the current version as you say.
