You can not burn ppt to DVD directly.
u should use some third party tools.

How to do it----
Tools:
1. PPT2DVD free trial from http://www.ppt-to-dvd.com/download.php?sid=4
2. a dvd burner

Steps:
1. install PPT2DVD on your computer
2. launch PPT2DVD
3. import your PowerPoint presentation in PPT2DVD
4. select the needed configurations for your presentation

NOTE: pay attention to these features because they affect the final playing
results:
---norm: NTSC PAL
---video aspect: 1:1 4:3 16:9
5. convert your presentation to a video file
6. burn the converted presentation file to a dvd with a dvd burner.

Some important things, make sure the dvd and the dvd player are compatible.

About the animation and music
This program supports the conversion of most transitions, text animations,
graphics animations in PowerPoint Music can also be well preserved in sync
with the slides.
For better conversion results, it is recommended to add the music after
conversion with the" add background music " fearure in the program.

Note that ,if your PowerPoint file is too complex, pls choose 'Record volume'
in the advance setting, and do not make other noise sound when converting, for
it would record all your music and sounds playing.

and some tutorial about creating photo slide show with PowerPoint
http://www.ppt-to-dvd.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=1419
and some free PowerPoint templates (if you need)

Note that in this way you can get a DVD and you can control it use a remote
control.
There is another way to convert it to video, but can not control by a remote
control. If you want to convert it to AVI or other format video, you should
use Camtasia studio etc..

No, Camtasia's capture works far better.

LOL

Interesting ... a testimonial from someone who wants to hide their identity.
(e-mail address removed) does not exist. Nor does (e-mail address removed) Step up or
shut up.

In 99.9% of this type of testimonial, the person who hides their identity
works for the company they are supporting. This is called SPAMMING. If you
do not work for the company in question (who in my opinion had a garbage
product but aggressive PR staff), then post using your real email address
(even if it is mugged) and post your credentials.

Austin has been around for years; we know him and value his opinion.
Explain to us why we should consider yours.

No. It isn't based on the garbage we have seen on this group from some
spammers.

Yes, I unloaded some of my anger at them on you; and if I am mistaken I do
apologize. However, it does not change the request for information. Do you
offer any validation that you are not financially tied to the company that
makes this product?

Of course we can take this discussion off list. Send me an email or post
yours.

I have 7 different Powerpoint conversion programs .. which I have evaluated
... including Camtasia. In particular, animations with sound convert
problematically in Camtasia, and not in PP2DVD. I have no idea who makes
the product nor where their website is.

Here it is:

http://www.ppt-to-dvd.com/

It ONLY does conversions. These things are bought for me by staff, so I can
only tell you my personal experiences with rather complex media in
powerpoint and the conversion to video. None of them are perfect by any
means.

Bill I do agree with you. When there is a "valid" adress these spams are all
coming from @gmail.
This is years I use camtasia, i mean professionnal with entire satisfaction

OK. I accept that you have a staff. Now answer what I asked - Are *they*
paid in any way by the company you are backing? Are you?

I would probably have just let this whole thread drop, except that you felt
the need to re-post the website with a blurb - just like the spammers would
have done. This was a major red flag - unsolicited advertising (i.e. spam)

Sooo ...

1) What was the date/time of the original message you were responding to?
Our spammers have been posting responses to old or made-up messages. I do
not see the original message, just like it would appear if you were one of
our spammers.

2) Who do you work for - or what is a valid email address - or give us any
way we can validate your financial interest.

I am still hoping that you are not one of our spammers, but you offer no
proof of that, either on list or off and your posts suggest you are.

Unbelievable. I thought that was obvious. Of course not.

This is so insulting as to be moot to me. Goodbye and good luck.

I do not respect this answer. He provided nothing that can be remotely
called helpful. Idiots.

Oh no it doesn't! A true myth. PPT2Video is far superior.

Tell you what, send me an email with a real address and we will discuss it.
My email address here is real and I have no need to hide behind a false one.

Straight talk, I do not believe you and am convinced you are part of the on
going spamming from this company.
