How can I save a file in Frontpage without publishing?

I want to create a page that I will be working on. I don't want it published
until I'm done. I'd like to save my changes without having FrontPage publish
it. Every time I save something, it gets published. How would I go about
doing that? Thanks
 
you need to have your web open, not just a page.

Save the file like with any other application: File > Save.
 
and then in Folder List right click on the page you dont want to Publish and
select Don't Publish.
