Open the calendar from which you wish to move the old items in a table
view - categories works well for this. Select all (Ctrl+A), then right
click and drag the items to the preferred calendar. Release the mouse
button and select copy or move, as is your preference. I usually select
copy since I want to make sure all items moved correctly.

After furious head scratching, Robert Braxton asked:
| This is essentially the same situation I report in my new post. In
| our case, the old appointments (in Archive) are visible. My user just
| wants all those appointments "merged" back into the main calendar,
| which apparantly means doing a Move after selecting all appointments
| that are in the Archive calendar. I just need to know exactly how one
| goes about doing those two motions: select and Move.
