This program just warned me about a possible threat, but
with the red popup window, and ased me to allow or remove
a program. i accidently removed it, and I realized that
it has many important files in it. I need to know how to
restore this program? It was not blocked, so It is not
on the blocked list it was REMOVED COMPLETELY!

Hi Robert,
Open MWAS--->Tools--->Spyware Scan--->Manage Quarantine and take a peek in
there. From reports in these NG's it may take quite some time for a
recovery.

Unless you backed up your files before hand it most likely
removed the program and the folder that contained it. This
includes all the files in that folder also

I dont think that the program is completely removed
either. When i go to the remove program list it is still
there. And my memory has not decreased either. i think
that it is being stored somewhere. I just dont see
where. The files were also not sent to the recycle
folder. i tried to look through all the logs is the
program, the only place that i find it is in the
checkpoint log.

The checkpoint log? Quarantined items should be in a quarantine
subdirectory under the installation directory where Microsoft Antispyware's
code is installed.

They will be renamed, but otherwise unchanged.

Thats the problem. it wasent blocked, it was removed,
and it dosent appear in aany logs. its like when it
tells you that there is a possible hijacker threat, and
it asks you to remove the threat by a red pop-up window
appearing.

Can you describe what happened - including naming what was involved? What's
involved in replacing this program?
