How can I restore a removed item

An employee accidentally chose to "remove" a folder that
has important information that was detected as spyware.
Is there any way I can restore that folder? Thank You!

As a general rule, restoring from a backup is what should work.

In some cases in these groups, people have suggested file recovery
applications, and some respondents have tried these and found that they
didn't work. I don't know why that would be. Some of the recovery
applications allow you to determine before paying for them what your chances
of success are.

It has just deleted over 2500 song that I had on my pc and
I can't get them back either. I would appprecite it if
