how can I remove 'windows picture and fax viewer' ???

I have another program associated with jpgs (and every
image type) but if I try to open a picture from a folder
in explorer this stupid program opens them. It's a
worthless program. Is there some way to remove it, or make
it unexecutable???? I don't understand how I have set it
so another program will open pictures and thing overwrites
it???
 
To change the program opening your jpgs, right click on one of the jpgs,
then click on Open with. Click on Choose program. A list will open, select
the software you want and check the box "Always....."
