In XP Professional, once you have OPENED a file of a particular extension
with a Windows application, how can you dis-associate that extension from the
application? I recall years ago, that I could look at an application and see
all the file types (extensions) associated to the application, and could add
or remove any of them, as needed. In XP, it seems that once they are
added/associated they cannot be dis-associated. I can't find anything about
this in the Help files or other online resources. If anyone knows how to do
this, I'd appreciate it if you would share this information with me.
