How can I remove password protection from my PowerPoint deck?

I have a few PowerPoint documents that I password-protected in 2003. Now I'm
on 2007 and cannot find a way to remove this protection (it's causing more
problems than it is worth, especially on my website). I can find references
on how to *apply* password protection but nothing about how the owner can
*remove* it. This isn't a matter of forgetting the password -- I don't have
that problem and can open the documents myself.

Open the presentation using the password. Then do a "Save as" and in the
dialog box where it asks for the password, delete the password and leave the
box blank.

Best regards,

Thanks, Ute. That worked like a charm -- once I figured out that it wasn't
under the "Save Options," it was under "General Options." But you had me in
the "right schoolroom" and I just had to find "my seat."
