I have an annoying yellow square containing tip made in PPT2003. In PPT2003
it is possible to remove this square. In 2007 it is impossible to remove,
seems like it is a full part of the template. Help - anyone?

What happens when you right click on the comment? Is there a popup with
delete option?

Unfortunately no, it seems like a full part of the template. But in 2003 it
is no problem to remove. It is a comment on how to use the template, and I
can choose show or don't show.

Note that there's a slide master at the top then some number of indented
slide
layouts beneath it.

Anything on the slide master will appear on every slide layout.

My guess is that you're trying to delete the thing from the individual
slide
layouts, where they're not selectable, rather than from the slide master
at the
top, where it probably IS selectable. And delete-able. If that's a word.
And
even if it's not, it's a valid concept. Try it on. <g>

And here's pictures to help!

YESS! We made it. The box was selecteable when viewing "Comment Template",
not the ordinary template view nor the third type of template view. Don't ask
me why. Thank you very much for guiding us, Steve! This has been a real
nuisance for a lot of us in my company, and must be a bug or something?
Excuse my English, I have a Norwegian PPT license, so I do not really know
the English menus.
