I would like to view my powerpoint presentations at less than fullscreen size
so that I can record them as a video for creating VCD and DVD's as well as
viewing on the internet.

I would like to be able to resize the screen

Have you tried Slide Show > Set Up Show > Browsed by an individual
(Window)?

David, Thank you,
That was exactly what I was looking for. You can't believe how many times I
search the help , windows support and finally here in the communities. Next
time I start here.

Thanks again,

Can you explain a little more? What slide show icon? Exactly where am I when
I am suppose to see this icon?

While I can get around in PP I'm not a powerpoint guru or even close. So I
need a little more direction, please.

Thanks, for the response.

The slide show icon is the one that you will click on to start the slide show.
It is located at the bottom left hand side of PowerPoint. (depends on what
version you are using, it might be on the bottom right)

Hi Kermit,
If you use a professional tool to burn PowerPoint presentations to VCD
or DVD,
there is no need to worry the size problem for the professional tool
has already solved it for you.
You may get these kind of tools from this website:
