How can I recovery excel files damaged during the cut/paste on ser

I cut a folder with excel files from my desktop and pasted it to the server.
The server was down in that specific moment and now I can see the folder on
the server, but I can't open all excel documents.
Does a way to recory them exist?

If you haven't done anything else yet, you might open windows explorer
and see if Edit, Undo (menu) works.

Unfortunately the problem happened yesterday end the PC has been shut down.
