How can I read 100 jpgs, properly scaled, into powerpoint slides

T

tom

I have a folder with 100 JPGS. I want them each on a DIFFERENT powerpoint
slide.
I want to read them all in, in one shot. ALSO!!! I want them AUTO scaled to
fit the powerpoint slide. PLEASE do not guess at what I am trying to do and
offer a suggested alternative. There is a reason I want to do this and
exactly this.

Currently, when I "insert picture" and select all the pictures in the
folder, all the pictures appear on ONE slide.

Also, if I only insert ONE, then it is too big for the powerpoint slide.
So, even if I resolve the first issue, this one would then come back to
plague me.

Two suggestions on doing what you have requested:

1) Use the Photo Album insert method
This is included in the PowerPoint software and will add the selected
images from a folder into PowerPoint one to a slide scaled to the size of
the slide. There are some other options you can use. The exact keystrokes
vary between versions so post back with the version of PowerPoint you are
using and we'll get you the exact keystrokes/steps to use.

2) Use Image Import Wizard
This is a low cost add-in that expands on the abilities of the above
functionality.

Try this method - http://presentationism.com/the-five-minute-business-presentation-ideas/
If you wanna resize your pictures, use this tool - Microsoft image
resizer in advance before you insert pics into your slides -
