How can I put a GEDCOM file on my FrontPage website?

I am doing genealogy using Family Tree Maker software and have a FrontPage
website on Tripod.
I have directions on how to save my family tree as a GEDCOM file, but need
to know if I can, and how to upload it to my website.
Thanks :)

Actually you can put any file on a web site, but whether it can be used by anyone else is
another issue.

A GEDCOM file is only useable in a genealogy program.

If you want viewers to see your family tree in a browser window, see if your genealogy
program has the ability to create an html page from the GEDCOM file, and then put the html
page in your web.

I have seen websites that have family trees and reports that can be viewed
online without a genealogy program. How do they do it, and is it possible
with FrontPage?

The either create it by hand, or use their genealogy program to create it.

You should be able to do it in FrontPage .

Thanks for your help, Steve. Now all I have to do is figure out how to get it
from my Family Tree Maker program to my FrontPage. My first guess would be
copy & paste. Got any other suggestions?

Does the Family Tree Maker program have an option under "Save as" to save it as an html
page??

I've been playing around with menu options. When I'm in Pedigree view, if I
go to View>Tree Charts>Std. Pedigree, I can then use menu options:
File>Export Ancestor Tree>To Acrobat PDF. That is the only option on that
menu.
Thanks for helping, guys.

Save as: is on the menu, but grey and not clickable in pedigree view which is
where I see the tree.

Welp, if Acrobat will give you an image then you're halfway there!...all you
gotta do is edit/crop/slice the image up and use it in your web design.
