I can only print out a memo style format of journal entries. One page for
each entry. I wish to be able to show a "day" with all the journal entries
listed for the day, like a task list or something similar. If possible, even
better to get it as a segmented report broken out by days. So each day would
list the journal entries for the day of a given week, or month etc.

Thanks again.

Outlook printing is WYSIWYG. If you want to print in a calendar-type format,
you need to create a new day/'week/month view of the Journal folder. Once
you do that, you can use the Calendar Details print format to get a nice
list of everything that happened in one day.

Any good online sources of how to do this in Microsofts help or Knowledge
articles.

Thanks
Gordon

Did you try searching help for "create view"? Really all you need to do is
go to View | (Arrange By) | Current View | Define Views and create a new
day/week/month view.

That was too easy. Does your book go through advanced (or basic) things like
that. I haven't had the time to explore all the office applications, but
tricks like that would help a lot of people be more productive.

Thanks again

My latest book is on Outlook programming. It doesn't cover the basic feature
usage. There are lots of books that do, thoiugh.
