How can I prevent the Formmail exploit when using Frontpage 2003

I have several sites that use Forms generated using FrontPage 2003.

They are all having problems from Spammers using the Formmail exploit.
I use remote hosts and have access to the MSA Formmail 1.92.
I am just not sure how to integrate these two or if it will help.
Are there any suggestions or solutions to this problem using Frontpage ?
Please help. Thank you.

If you are using Formmail, then the problem is not with FP. Spammer can not send bulk email using
the FP form handler, however then can send spam to the email address associated with the form.

Hello - I am not using Formmail. I am only using the FP form handler.
I do not even know how to use Formmail. I was using the term simply because
I do not know what to call a problem that causes 10,000 hits a month on a
page that should be getting 50.

Are you certain that th FP form handler is not able to send SPAM to other
addresses?

Yes, it can only send email to the address you enter in the form dialog.

I guess if the web host screwed up the installations/configuration of the extensions somehow messing
with the email function, it would be possible.

No, I didn't mean through fp extensions. Couple of years ago I had some
spammer somehow bouncing stuff through my server. Sorry dunno much about
that stuff, but my host had to fix something.
