well, when the dialog comes up untick the box, i don't
know how to turn it on after unticking the box :(

To turn the box back on:
Open Windows Explorer and go to Tools | Folder Options | File Types.
Scroll down to the file type in question and select it.
Click Edit or Advanced, depending on your Windows version.
Check the box for "Confirm open after download".

Thanks your response. My main question is: How can I
change the setting through program language such as Visual
Basic? I guess that there is a registry item associated
with the setting, but I don't know the registry item.
Would anyone can teach me? Thanks.
