Two problems: I have 23 slides (5 minutes), but would
like to have one audio file (six minutes) play once
throught the whole presentation. Right now it starts over
on each page or pages won't advance as I have set timing.
they freeze until I manualy advance them. I also tried to
embed in the master, but no luck. What am I doing wrong?

Try inserting the audio file on the first slide with the
slide animation. click on Slide show, slide transition,
and then add it to the sound drop down, then click on
apply.
