How can I only get the email title when receiving message?

I have many many email in my mail box, which often have some attachment
with. So when I receiving message the whole attachement will be downloaded,
the progress is very slowly. How can I set the Windows Mail to only get the
title of the mail like it does with news group? Thanks.
 
Windows Mail cannot get and display only the header information.

This program will let you check pop3 email and delete unwanted messages.

under Options Read tab, uncheck the Automatically download message in preview pane . and turn off the preview pane.
then to read a message, double click on it.

The attachment will still be downloaded. This you cannot stop in Windows Mail

But I still consider that MS should add this feature, for many users may
often receive some big attachment. :(

You cannot with Windows Mail. With Outlook you are able to do this
