how can i modify a text in a picture?

I have a certificate in a power point slide but, there is only one
mis-spelling of only one letter....how can I change that letter? Thanks
 
I would probably do that in a graphical editing program.
But if your certificate has a plain colored background, you can covered the
letter with autoshape, then set the fill color similar to the background and
no line.
