How can I make Windows Messenger to show whether I have e-mails in my hotmail account?

How can I make Windows Messenger to show whether I have e-mails in my
hotmail account.I had messenger 5 installed and showed if I had emails,but
iI upgraded to messenger 6 and now doesn't show it.

There is no Windows Messenger 6, so I assume you're referring to Windows Messenger 5, which
no longer has the Hotmail integration features and will not show you how many e-mails you
currently have in your Hotmail inbox. To get this feature back, you'll either need to
install and use MSN Messenger 6 (http://messenger.msn.com/Download) or go back to Windows
Messenger 4.7. To do so, click Start, then Run, type (or copy/paste) the following:
msiexec.exe /x {ABEB838C-A1A7-4C5D-B7E1-8B4314B10138}
and then click OK.

Then, you can reinstall Windows Messenger 4.7 from here:

After installing Windows Messenger 4.7, you'll need the MSN Add-In (Add-Ins are not supported
in Windows Messenger 5):
