How can I make today more prominent in Calendar monthly view

I would like to make it easier to find today's date instantly in Calendar
monthly view by making today a different colour. At the moment, today's date
is highlighted by a very subtle and almost indistinguishable grey.
 
Change your Windows colors to give a more vivid display.
