I told Front page to remember my username and password. Now I want it not to
remember but ask each time that I log onto a site. Any ideas of how to do
this

Stefan Rusynko found this one:

Go here:
http://www.nirsoft.net/utils/pspv.html

Download and run Protected Storage PassView
Use it to delete the website related user names and passwords .

Interesting :-)

I would like FP to *remember* my password every time I publish, but it
won't. I have to enter it every time

How did you do it

You have to double click to open the live/remote site first, before publishing.

If you feel your current issue is a results of installing
a Service Pack or security update, please contact
Microsoft Product Support Services:

If the problem can be shown to have been caused by a
security update, then there is usually no charge for the call.

The utility just lists your stored passwords (doesn't allow any edits)

Passwords used by FP are "stored" using IE
In IE use Tools > Internet Options > Security
Click on 'Trusted' and on 'Custom Level'
Make sure the selection at the bottom is set to:
'Automatic logon with current username and password' and click OK
Click on 'Sites' and add your site URL in the 'Add this Web Site to the Zone', and OK, OK
- note: you may have to unselect the option: Require server verification (https)... to add your site

Try adding your site to the trusted zone and also setting User Authentication to Prompt for user name in IE Tools > Internet
Options > Security (Click on 'Trusted' and on 'Custom Level')

Thanks this helped. Once I know that IE stores the passwords I just have to
click on delete passwords under autocomplete.
thanks!!

The version I have does!! ( Version 1.62 )

Right click on an item and check the context menu.
