I need to creat a graph that looks like a thermometer in PowerPoint.
I would like not to have to program it using VBA.

Any suggestions?

We have a couple of company goals that I would like to track using the image
of a thermometer. The thermometer will display our prograss towards the
goal. I can use either Excel or PowerPoint to do this. I was hoping that
there was a graph template available for this so that I do not need do any
significant programming.

I see these type displays quite typically to trap donations.

Thanks in advance for any suggestions you might have.

Thanks Glenda:

I was looking for something were I could enter numeric data, in the same
manor as a standard office graph, but have the visual display look like a
thermometer. Your approach would work but would be difficult to update on a
regular basis.
