How can I link my Lotus notes to Microsoft Outlook 2000

I have been informed that there is a piece of s/w that links these two
applications but I think it is limited to Outlook 2002. My company has only
installed 2000 which leaves me with a slight problem. I only really want to
sync up my calender on my PDA to my laptop but this is quite difficult when
using Lotus notes. I have tried using such things like Commontime and
Pylonpro but I feel they are quite difficult to use, especially when you come
up against a problem as the support is quite limited.

Can I simply upgrade to 2002 FOC and then use this s/w ?

If the Lotus Domino server utilizes the same API as a cc:Mail server, then
Outlook 2000's cc:Mail service should be able to connect the two.

Unfortunately I'm not replicating with my server simply laptop to PDA. Would
this still work?

I'm no longer sure I understand your question. In the original message, you
seemed to be indicating you want to synchronize Outlook and Lotus so that
when you sync your PDA with Outlook, you'll get your Lotus messages on the
PDA. Here you say you have no server, and I don't know how you can use
Notes with no server. Moreover, if you're using Notes, how does Outlook
play into the mix? Can I ask that you restate the issue?
