M company uses Exchange, we also use Salesforce.com - I am not high on SF.COm
b/c its an online service. I have a CD for BCM, is it worth loading and
running? I want to create opportunites and track contacts in each independant
opportunity - thoughts/feedback appreciated.

Greg,

For a better experience in your Exchange environment I would reccomend
checking out www.avidian.com. BCM v.2 does coexist along side of Exchange
but currently does not participate in the sharing capabilities that your
company may have a need for. Microsoft currently requires you to move into
their more expensive full Dynamics CRM solution if you want robust
information sharing. The Avidian option is a possible lower cost alternative
for you to consider.

Having used BCM for 2 years or so I would say that as a basic contact
management program it’s quite good because of the look and feel of Outlook.
Be aware of the limitations such as the lack of customisation and the
inflexibility in opportunity tracking.

I’m also not sure how (or if) the product works well with multiple (or
remote) users. I have asked the question here several times and not got a
straight or consistent answer. In short, it looks good and if you want (and
use) the basics it’s OK
