I have tried to download 'snap shot' in my MSOffice which I had in previous
versions and it is denied by the system. Is it possible at all? My System is
Office 2003 and Windows xp.

Hi!
I have tried downloading again and it did not work. I got an error message
saying as follows "Can't run 16-bit Windows program". Then: "The path
C:\DOCUM..1\Sagi\LOCALS..1\Temp\IXP000.TEMP\setup.exe is invalid."
Thank you for your help!

Hi,

That is highly curious as I doubt the setup program is a 16-bit
program. This makes me think that it is finding a 16-bit setup.exe somewhere
other than the temporary folder for some odd reason. As a starting question;
are you configured as an administrator on your machine?

Hi
No I am not configured as an administrator on my machine. Should I try
'save' in a different folder, ruther then 'open' and try setup from there?
Where should I save it as a good place to do it if at all?

Thanks again

Hi,

Saving to a different folder most likely will not help any as you have
full rights to your temporary folder where the install program gets placed.
It looks to me like you may not have the right to install programs at all.
Or at least not into the Program Files folder. If it allows, you could try
installing into your Documents and Settings folder. (C:\Documents and
Settings\[yourusername]). However, I suspect this will not work. In which
case, if this is a company computer, contact your IT staff about the issue.

Hi!
Actually I gave up on this matter, and will wait for my next machine with a
new Office which will be not too far.

Thanks for your help
