Hello

I am documenting an Access application and I would like to insert pictures of some command buttons of this application in this documentation (because I have to describe their use)
I did not success with good old copy/paste (it copies all the form, not only the button) and I cannot find the related bitmap on the disk
How can I manage this
Thanks for your help

You should be able to edit your complete form picture using PhotoEditor or
even Paint.

However, there are also some good third-party image capture tools. I use
SnagIt, from TechSmith http://www.techsmith.com , but I'm sure there are
other equally good products available (including, possibly, freeware
versions if you look hard enough)

If you hit the print-screen button on your computer, a snapshot of the
screen is taken.

You can then paste that picture into word (just go edit->paste).

All my screen shots are done that way. You can also go alt-print-screen, and
only the current active window is sent to the paste buffer.

Since word has since some nice cropping options..often the above is more
then enough. I did the following screen shots using print-screen, and they
came out very well (I throw them into paint shop pro).

PrintKey by Alfred Bolliger is an excellent tool. It is one of best, of the
many great free utilities from PC Magazine. Now that PC Mag has gone
commercial, there is a PrintKey Pro that is not free. You can still
download the earlier (free) versions, however, from other sites. I've been
using PrintKey 4 for years. I just did a quick google search and I see that
there is a PrintKey 2000 available.
