Hi,
During Power Point presentations, I want to be able to leave a blank screen
(black) so that the audience doesn't read ahead of my comments. Please and
thanks.

While you are running the presentation, press the b key on your keyboard.
The screen will turn black. (W turns it white.) To show your screen again,
press any key and the screen will come back where you were.

Ok, that's the basic answer. The more detailed answer is to use animations
to bring in your content one piece at a time so that your audience focuses
on the content you are presenting, not on reading ahead of the slide. If you
want help learning about animation, let us know which version of PPT you are
using and we can send you to the right places.

I believe life is meant to be lived. But:
if we live without making a difference, it makes no difference that we lived

Art - if you mean that you would like to black the screen while you talk,
then just press "B"
