How can i import into a calendar which is in a public folder

I have a copy of a file exported from a personal calendar, I am trying to
import bthis data into a calendar, which is in a public folder on our
exchange - The import wizard only points me to importing the file to my
personal folders - has anyone done this sucessfully?
 
Create another Calendar in your folder structure and then import into this
and then drag and drop into the Public Folder Calendar, tip changing the
view on the newly created Calendar to a Table type will make drag and drop
easier.

Don't import. Open the PST and then drag the contents of its calendar to
the public calendar.
