How can I get Outlook to open? It has suddenly stopped opening.

I have been using this program for years. However, it will no longer open.
No error message appears; it just will not open (either the usual way or in
safe mode). Any suggestions?
 
Outlook version? Detect and Repair?

Did you look in Task Manager's Processes tab to check if a remanant instance
of outlook.exe is still running? If so, kill it and then try loading
Outlook. Of course, a reboot would also kill that remnant instance.
