How can I get IE to play a .wav file and not try to save it?

Hi,
I have IE 6 sp1 on XP Pro service pack 2 and when IE encounters a .wav file it
always ask where to save the file and does not play it OR give me an option to
play or save it.
I've checked my file associations and all appear OK. The confirm open on
download box is checked.

Any help would be appreciated..

If the "Confirm open..." box is checked, then you will get the prompt.
Try unchecking it.
