how can I get client IP addresses?

hello

How can I get a client IP address, and if he uses proxy
his (forwarded for) original address in my web application?

You would need to use an (unsafe) active/x control to do this.

You can use the Request object to grab this information; if his proxy is
kind, you can grab the x-forwarded-for header to check for the Origin-IP.

However, please note that HTTP RFCs don't require this header, and proxy
servers are free to omit it. Also, given the ease with which these are
forged, I hope you're not relying on this for security decisions...
