How can I get a long block of wrapped text to print?

Even though I've tried to adjust the row height to fit the text, the last
several lines of a long block of text won't print or show up in the view. Why
won't Excel accept a long block of wrapped text?

Excel has a limit as to how much text can be put and viewed into a cell. The
limit that can be put into a cell is around 3000 characters and using a
standard method of text entry the limit that can be viewed is around 1000
characters but as I recently found out you can double the amount that can be
viewed if you enter your text using the Alt+Enter method......insert the
cursor every 100th characters or so and hit Alt+Enter.

Try inserting alt-enters (to force new lines within the cell) every 80-100
characters. You'll be able to see lots more text.

Another undocumented MS feature? I did finally find in Help that characters
were limited to 1,024, which is another good reason to use one space between
sentences.
I keep telling folks to use Word for such tables.Thanks to both Dave and
Pinmaster.
