How can I get a list of web sites hosted by IIS?

I need to be able to list web sites hosted on the local machine by IIS so
that I can install my web app to the correct directory (I don't want to
install to the 'Default Web Site'.)

I'd say read the metabase.

You will most likely need to use the System.DirectoryServices namespace.
Some Invoking will be necessary as there are no wrappers for IIS. Use the
following IIS documentation to help you:

I have also heard that you can read through the Metabase XML of an IIS 6
(but not IIS 5) server as well though I have not tried this.
