How can I get a bubble chart label to appear correctly?

I have been asked to add labels to a bubble chart, but
when I select chart options>data labels>show labels it
displays the x value rather than the series name. If you
put the mouse over the data point it does display the name
correctly, but that doesn't help once the chart is printed!

I know that I can add these manually, but as I have over
60 bubbles on the chart this is a bit of a pain
(especially when the chart data needs to be updated)

I am using Excel 97 SR-2 if that makes any difference

Thanks

Thanks a lot for taking the trouble to reply -
unfortunately by the time I get IS to allow me to install
this addin (if they let me at all) my deadline will be
long gone! I was just wondering if it was possible to do
this using plain old excel.

I shouldn't be such a cynic! IS let me have this installed
and it works fine!

Many thanks once again

Will wonders never cease?

For future reference, you can change the labels manually. Click on a
label (which selects all labels for the series) then click on a single
label. Now either edit the text in the label, or press the = key, then
select the cell with the label. Rob's addin is great if you need to do
more than about three.
