Hello,

I am trying to get IE to display the file action dialog whenever I click on
a *.pdf file. I've tried disabling the ActiveX component for *.pdf files
(CLSID CA8A9780-280D-11CF-A24D-444553540000), but still no luck; all it does
not is take me to a blank webpage.

Any way to force IE to display the file action dialog when I click on a
*.pdf?

Thanks,

Jon

Hi Jon,

In Windows Explorer: Tools, Folder Options, File types. PDF. Check [x]
Confirm open after download.

Kind regards

Hans,

Thanks for the suggestion, but it didn't work. I checked that box, even
rebooted, but I still don't get prompted for a file action.

Hi,

I'm baffled. I looked around to see if I could find something, but I
couldn't. Maybe someone else has seen this before...

Kind regards
