Close Outlook. Ensure that you are able to view hidden files and folders (do
this using Windows Explorer Tools > Options). Search for *.srs. It should be
in an Outlook folder under your profile. Rename it or delete it and reopen
Outlook. Let me know if that helps.

Hi

Thanks for the reply, I have ensured that I can view hidden files and
folders and done a search for *.srs but there are no files with this
extension.....

There must be or Outlook couldn't operate. Open Windows Explorer and enter

%AppData%\Microsoft\Outlook

in the Address Bar. Click Go. The file will have the same name as your
mail profile and be a type "SRS File", with a file extension of ".srs" if
you have enabled viewing known file extensions.

Hi

Done that now I found it !!! Having a blonde moment !!

Recreated my account, which by the way I had done about 20 times or more in
the past month, and it worked this time !!!!

Yeah!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Not sure for how long but all seems ok for now.

Thanks for all your help, both of you.

Hope you guys are online again !!!!

I'm back again...

Turned my pc off last night and back on today, same issue.

Should I have to delete that srs file all the time it seems a bit wierd, any
other suggestions ?????

There are so many errors that are caused due to registry related errors. Among them one is 0x800CCC0F error in outlook. Because of the registry files corruption your Outlook stops working. So it becomes very important to fix the issue. As we know that the error is due to the registry corruption so using a good professional registry cleaner application will solve the issue. However at times the issue is due to severe damage and corruption of pst files in such case run scanpst.exe or use free pst repair software.
