how can i find a file that i have hidden?

Today I hid a file (in My Pictures) but now I can't find it, even when I
search for this file. It seems to be completely hidden, even gone. Does
anyone have suggestions for how to find it?

Open a folder and go to
....Tools / Folder Options / View tab...
Tick...Show Hidden Files and Folders...
Apply / OK...

Now return to the location of your hidden
folder and you should be able to find it.
