Hi all,
Think I export my contacts from gmail in a csv file. Now how can I
import it into Outlook 2003?

File | Import and Export.

ÙShould I really buy and read whole this book? isn't there any one who
had done this before? it shouldn't be that hard I think.

What on earth are you talking about? Did you even try using the FIle | IMport and Export wizard as suggested?

OK, to be more explicit, click File>Import and Export>Import from another
program or file>Next. Select either "Comma Separated Values (DOS)" or
"Comma Separated Values (Windows)" and click Next. Browse to the csv file
or type in its name, select the duplicate handling you want, click Next,
select the destination Contacts folder, click Next and follow whatever
remaining prompts there are. All this is fairly obvious after the initial
File>Import and Export.

Thank you Brian,
but you what, my Import and export part is disabled and I cant click on
it, so what should I do now?

Add the Importers and Exporters for Outlook from within Control Panel's Add
and Remove Programs applet.

Dear Brian
actually i didn't find where I can do this. I also checked all parts of
control panel's add and remove program applet. By the way I am speaking
about Microsoft outlook 2003 and not outlook express. so it would be
vry kind of you if you go through details.
thanks

Open Control Panel>Add or Remove Programs. Select Microsoft Office (or
Outlook) and click Change. Pick "Add or remove features" and click Next.
Make sure Outlook and "Choose advanced customization of applications" are
checked and click Next. Locate Outlook and click the plus sign to its left.
Locate Importer and Exporters and click its disk icon. Select Run from My
Computer and click Update.
