Hi, I have 10 windows xp sp3 client machines in a workgroup. How can i apply
a password policy on those machines? can i do it through some script or a
batch file that i can run?

What I mean is simple
- 10 Windows XP Machines in Workgroup.
- GOAL: To set a Password Policy on all the machines
- enforce password history of 8
- Max password age of 90 Days
- Min Password Length of 8 Characters

I am looking for a script to do this or a batch file.

Not an answer, but you might like to take a look at:

http://mylogon.net

A generally better way to manage a small network. Since all users logon to a
central server, you determine your passwords there. At the moment no password
policies or way for users to change their own passwords, but I'm looking at
that for the next version. In any case, not really necessary for a 10-user
setup, just set the passwords yourself on the server.

Pastor Dave said:
The Bible says that death came by sin and sin came
by Adam (Rom 5:12; 1 Cor 15:21-22).

Deuteronomy Chapter 5:
... For I the LORD your God am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the
fathers upon the sons to the third and fourth generation of those who hate
Me, (10) and doing mercy to thousands of those who love Me and keep My
commandments.

Therefore, for the believers there is no problem, for the unbelievers this
was only a problem for four generations.

Unless of course God had made a change to System Policies meantime... <g>
