When I delete messages in the Inbox, they are moved to the " Deleted Items "
folder instead of being deleted directly. And I will empty " Deleted Items"
folder in the next morning when I go on work.
So is there a solution that the " Deleted Items " folder can be emptied
automatically in the background after the time I go off work?
Thanks for you help.

You can set the deleted folder to empty on exiting Outlook.
Goto - Tools, Options, Other and check the box Empty the Deleted Item folder
upon exiting.

Thank you for your information.
But it does not help for my situation.
I don't close the Outlook usually. And I want Outlook can empty the deleted
items folder automatically when I go off work, for example, at 12 o'clock in
the night.

Set up AutoArchive to run every day, then set up the AutoArchive properties of the Deleted Items folder to deleted items older than 1 or 2 days, whatever you choose.

I did as you said, but I cannot find the "Deleted Items" folder in
autoArchive setting page. And I don't know how to selete the folder I want to
empty everyday.
Can you tell me in detailed?

Right-click the Deleted Items folder and choose Properties. The settings you need are on the AutoArchive tab that you'll find on the folder's Properties dialog.
