How can I *embed* an MP3 file rather than link it?

I want to embed a large MP3 sound file so that it is
stored in my presentation. Instead, no matter what I
try, the sound file is linked, rather than stored within
the PPT file.

I've tried using Tools:Options to change the setting that
says "Link sound files greater than ___ KB" but to no
avail. My MP3 sound file is about 5,000KB. However, even
if I change the setting to "Link sound files greater than
10,000 KB" it still always links my MP3 file.

How can I insert the MP3 sound file so that it is stored
within the PPT file, rather than linked as a separate
file?

Simply put, you can't. All multimedia with the exception of wav files are
linked. No way to change it.
