How Can I Download PowerPoint For Free (any version)?

My new canned answer for Open Office:

Download the latest version of Open Office from www.openoffice.org

Open Office works well but if you want to ensure
compatibility with MS Office programs in the future you need to set the
defaults for the main programs to save as .doc, .xls and .ppt files.

To do that start Open Office Writer then click Tools, Options, the + beside
Load/Save, General and down in the Document type click Text document in the
drop down box. In the Always save as box click the drop down and select
Word 97/2000/XP and then click the Document type dropdown and do the same
for Presentation and select PowerPoint 97/2000/XP, then do the same for
Spreadsheet. Click OK. Now whenever you save a document, spreadsheet or
PowerPoint type file it will be easily readable by Office applications.
