I need to download a powerpoint presentation from a professor. The system
will only allow me to save it. I need to open it and print it for an open
book exam. How can I resolve this problem?

This is an ACCESS FORMS newsgroup. We help people create forms in Access
databases. You seem to be looking for a Power Point newsgroup, not an
Access newsgroup.

Do yourself a favor; put your computer back in its box and send it
back. You have no business owning it if you don't know the answer to
your question.

If you can't figure out how to open Explorer and double-click on a
filename, you need to either pick up a pen or hire an instructor. And
if you don't know that you can't open a file if you don't have the
program necessary, you need to realize there's more to computers than
"LOL" and "A/S/L?"

I'm no genius, but people that dumb annoy me.

Hi

Rick was right when he said that this forum is for Access Databases. On the
left of you screen you should see an option to select the Power Point forum.

If the PP presentation includes videos, sound clips etc you will to download
these as well as the presentation (as these will be linked) although if it
only contains slides (which are embedded) you should be able to simply open
the file and save it to you hard drive. If you can't open it simply Right
Click the file and use the "Save As" option. Although if you can't open it
you may not have the correct Power Point prog. loaded.

After this (if you only want “handout’s) simply use tools/option/print

Best of luck with your project

1. I don't understand why you felt compelled to respond in such a manner. You
could have easily ignored the question.
2. You responded to Mike's post which looks like you are flaming him.

maybe you need to switch to decaf? <g>

I responded to Mike because I was explaining why I was so harsh.

I already switched to decaf, you should have seen me before the switch!
