How can I disable/remove Macromedia Flash plugin in IE6 ?

I want to
a) temporarily disable the Macromedia Flash player plugin
b) or even remove the whole plugin
from IE 6.

How do I do this?

Open my computer, local disk c:, windows, open downloaded program files,
right-click on every entry found until you find the flashplayer aand delete.
