How can I disable contacts birthday's from showing in calendar?

Any ideas?

We have imported 1200 contacts and most have birthdays,
BUT we don't want them to be displayed in Calendar, only
available for us to sort/search by.

Any idea how to disable outlook.contact.birthday field
from displaying in outlook.calendar.dailyview ?

There is no built-in way to disable this, although it could be done with
custom programming.
